For clinics that use Zencare Practice Management’s Client Portal feature to facilitate client bookings online, Zencare Practice Management’s Online Credit Card Pre-Authorization allows you to prompt clients for a credit card at the time of booking. The secure credit card pre-authorization and capture is managed through Zencare Payments. Clinics that have setup a Payments integration setup will have the option to configure a setting that prompts clients for their credit cards when they book appointments online.
This feature supports clinics with policies for charging clients when they miss appointments without giving notice or cancel their appointments late and need to be billed for the therapist’s time.
